I don’t make a Christmas dinner on Christmas Day nor do I have anywhere to go for a festive feast, so rather than stay home in my pajamas all day, I went out for a Teppan meal. It’s the best of both worlds! Food and entertainment. In my daily YouTube video blog below I visit a local teppanyaki restaurant. Watch to see what my experience was like!
Teppanyaki is a Japanese style of cuisine where the chef cooks the food with an iron griddle. This art of cooking originated in Tokyo, Japan. The first restaurant to officially introduce the concept of teppanyaki as we know it, was the Japanese restaurant chain Misono, in Kobe, in 1945.
